Mrs, A, J. McMurray had char- ge of the devotions which were based on "Prayer." The highlight of the meeting was a sketch very ably taken by Mrs. A. G. Eagle, Mrs, J. W, Van Egmond, Mrs. Ed. Dale and Miss E. Wiltse, dealing with church workers who deal with the Immi- grants who come to this country. Miss Joan Johnston favoured with two cornet solos and Mrs. D, Carter gave a reading entitled "Million Dollar Smile," Mrs. VanEgmond offered her home for the August meeting which will be a, tea and the pro- gram will be "Sing, Recite or Pay-up." Mrs. Holmes closed the meeting with prayer. Her white lace tiara was' decorated with white lily-of-the-valley and she wore a White net veil. Her pearl necklet was the gift of the groom, and she carried red roses. Marilyn Orr, RR 2, Goderich, was bridesmaid in blue net and lace over taffeta in ballerina len- th with matching bolero, and she carried a corsage of pink carna- tions. For the reception in the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Proct- or received in a dress of tan but- cher linen., with navy accessories and corsage of pink carnations.
