A MARVELOUS STOR'1
TOLD lA TWO LETTERS.
FROM THE SON: "28 Cedar St., %
"Gentlemen: My father resides at Glover,
Vt. Ile has been a great sufferer from Set( 2.
Ula, and the inclosed Letter will tell you wit :t
a marvelous effect
Ayer's Sarsaparilla
has had in his case. I think his blood mnz:
have contained the humor for at least tea
years ; but it did not show, except in the form
of a scrofulous sore on the wrist, until about
five years ago. From a few spots which ap-
peared at that time, it gradually spread so as
to cover his entire body. I assure you he was
terribly afflicted, and an object of pity, when
be began using your medicine. Now, there ara
few men of his age who enjoy as good health
as he has. I could easily name fifty perso_ts
who would testify to the facts 1n his case.
Yours truly, W. M. kon.laPs."
FROM THE FATHER. "It is pleasure ah i
a duty for me to state to you the benefit I
have derived from the use of
Ayer's Sarsaparilla.
Six months ago I was completely covered wits
a terrible humor and scrofulous sores. The
humor caused an Incessant and intolerable
itching, and the skin cracked so as to cause
the blood to flow in many places whenever
I moved. My sufferings wore great, and my
life a burden. I commenced the use of the
SARSAPARILLA in April last, and have used
it regularly since that time. My condition
began to improve at once. The sores have
all healod, and 1 feel perfectly well in every
respect -being now able to do a good day's
work, although 73 years of ago. Many inquire
what has wrought such a Duro in my case, and
I tell them, as I have here tried to tell you,
AYER'S SARSAPARILLA. Glover, Vt., Oct.
21, 1882. Yours gratefully,
HttAM PHILLIPS."
AYER'S SARSAPARILL4 cures Scrof 20
and all Scrofulous Complaints, Erysip-
elas, Eczema, Ringworm, Blotches,
Sores, Boils, Tumors, and Eruptions of
the Skin. It clears the blood of all impu-
rities, aids digestion, stimulates the action of
the bowels, and thus restores vitality and
strengthens the whole system.

AYER'S
Hair Vigor
restores, with the gloss and freshness of
youth, faded or gray hair to a natural, rich
brown color, or deep black, as maybe desired,
By its use Light or rod hair may be darkened
thin hair thickened, and baldness often,
though net always, cured.
1t checks falling of tiro hair, and stimu-
lates a weak add sickly growth to vigor. Te
prevents and cures scurf and dandruff, and
heals nearly every disease peculiar to the.
scalp. As a Ladies' Hair Drea'Ing, the
VIGOR is unequalled; it "ordains • teii,: er

agreeable, and lasting perfume.
MR. C. P. BLUCHER writes from Kirby, 0.
July 3, 188.2: " Last fall my hair commenced
falling out, and in a short time 1 became
nearly bald. 1 used part of a bustle of
AYER'S HAM Vtaoa, which stopped the fall -
lug of the hair, and started a new growth. 1
have now a full head of hair growing vigor.
ously, and mu convinced that but for the
use of your preparation 1 should have beefy
entirely bale."
T. W. BOWEN, proprietor of the DYeArthur
(Ohio) Enquirer says : "Av8R's Hata Vioott
is a most excellent preparation for the hair.
1 speak of it from my own experience. Its
use promotes the growth of het8 hair, and
makes it glossy and soft. The Vlnott is also
a sure euro for dandruir. Not within my
knowledge has the preparation ever failed
to give entire satisfaction."
MR. Awoos FATItD.1TRN, leader of the,
celebrated "Fairbairn Family" of Scottish
Vocalists, writes from Boston., Mass., Feb. 0,
1880: "Ever since my hair began to give sil-
very evidence of the change which fleeting
time prooureth, I have used Avon's IIAnt
Vtoon, and so have been able to maintain
an appearance of youthfulness -a matter of
considerable consequence to ministers, ora-
tors, actors, and in fact every ono -who lives
in the oyes of the public."
Mits. O. A. PnascovT, wilting from 18 Elm
SI. Charlestown, Mass., .(grit 14, 1882, says :
