portions of the Municipality of Huron County that wiless
all noxious weeds thereon are destroyed before. the 15th
day of August, 1952, in accordance with .the Weed Control
Act, the inspector under authority given in Sections 3, 7, F
10 and 12, ",of the Act, will cause., the noxious weeds or F
weed seeds to be destroyed, and the costs thereof will be
placed on the Collector's roll' for collection in. the ,same
manner as taxes under the Assessment Act.

a three week motor trip to the

field" cottage. Robt Holt was also
here over the weekend and his
wife and daughter returned to
Windsor with him on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. E. Flagg, Lon-
don, came on Friday to spend
their vacation at their cottage,
"Flagg Haven," on ,Main Street.
The former's brother and wife,
Mr, and Mrs. Lorne Flagg, Lon-.
don, are their guests.
Mr. arid Mrs. Keith Pruss, Lon-
don, spent the weekend with the
latter's father, J. H. Parker. Mrs.
J. H, Parker accompanied Mr.
and Mrs, Lome Epps, London,
to Owen Sound, where they spent
the weekend with their sister,
Mrs. Seabrooks.
Miss Helen McLeod, who un-
derwent an appendectomy in
Clinton Public Hospital Thurs-
day last, returned to the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.
J. McLeod, on Monday, where
she is recuperating nicely, we
are pleased to report.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins
and, their son. Bill, and his wife,
Toronto, are at "Grumble,Not"
cottage. Jim Jenkins, who is with
National Detroit of Canada, at
Windsor, is also at the cottage,
and Mrs. Al Mahon and two
children, Windsor, are visiting
with her parents.
An interesting visitor in Bay-
field this week is Miss Barbara
Beatty, a guest of Mrs. Don
Beatty, (the former Margaret
Greig) with the latter's mother,
Mrs. William Greig. Miss Beatty
is a hostess with American Air-
lines, operating between Buffalo
and New York. Her brother, Don
Beatty, is a pilot on the overseas
Trans-Canada Airline operating
between Montreal and Paris.
Dr. and Mrs. Fred Landon,
London, are visiting with their
daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. S. F. Cook at "Lochame"
cottage. Dr. Landon, at the time
of his retirement, was vice-
president of the University of
Western Ontario, London, where
he was librarian and taught Am-
erican History. He is widely
known as an historian and the
author of a most interesting book,
"Lake Huron".
Mr. arid Mrs. F.. S. Edgeworth
and family, Courtright, and Mr.
and Mrs. T. Harry .McGee, Wind-
sor, are spending two weeks at
Lloyd's Cabins. " Mr. McGee is
the son of the Iate T. McGee who
drove stage here for nine years,
around the turn of the century,
before selling out to the late
Harry Little. He is enjoying his
first visit to Bayfield and is par-
ticularly pleased with the accom
modation provided by Mr. and
Mrs. Glen McKnight at Lloyd's
Cabins. He has been around a
bit and says that it is seldom
one runs into such a clean, well-
equipped place to spend a vaca-
tion.
