period, had it 4-2 at the end of
the second. Then the visitors
crept up the ladder with a count-
er in the third to come within
one point of tieing.
It was then that the veteran
Bob Draper bounced into the
limelight with that all-important
fifth goal with less than four
minutes to go. That settled the
issue.
Previously, young Bill Tides-
well, in the Clinton net, had
been having a busy, but never-
theless successful time. The
Draper goal served to relieve the
pressure muchly.

THURSDAY,
Colts Stay in Running With 5-3 Victory Over Listow
(By RSA)
Cheered on by the largest
crowd of the season-and it was
really a "cheering" crowd-Clin-
ton Colts stayed in the running
for the OHA Intermediate "B"
championship by trimming List-
owel in Clinton Lions Arena
Tuesday evening 5-3.
It was a "do-or-die" game for
Colts, who had to win to stay.
But now it looks as if they might
finish third to Miverton and
Centralia RCAF in the four-team
play-offs, it all depending on the
outcome of the New Hamburg-
Listowel match the latter part
of this week.
And who knows? Colts might
take out either Milverton or
Centralia to gain the group fin-
als. Time alone will tell.
Veterans Scintillate
It was a great night for.
"Cooney" McEwan and Bob
Draper, for, between them, they
managed to rack up all but three
of Clinton's ten points, made up
of five goals and five assists.
"Cooney" snaggled the first three
tallies of the game, and assisted
Bob Draper on the fifth, while
Bob was "derring-do" on' the
first and third, and scored the
,fifth.
I Doug Bartliff tallied Colts'
fourth in the first stanza, assist-
ed by Bill Counter, and Mait
Edgar was credited with the as-
sist on McEwan's second tally.
