(By our Bayfield correspondent)
Congratulations to Mr, and Mrs.
George King, Bayfield's grand old
couple, who on Monday, Febru--
ary 4, chalked up 61 years of
happy married life.
They spent the day quietly In
their home on Main Street, go-
ing about their household chores,
enjoying the radio, Tveading and
welcoming callers.
Mrs. King keeps to the house
in the cold weather but ,Mr. King
walks down town each day for
the mail and to do the necessary
shopping. When the snow is deep
he keeps a pathway shoVelled to
the gate, and says that it's no trick
at all if one knows how to dig.
He goes at it easily and it never
bothers him.
It is the young fellows who go
at it too hard and strain them-
selves who drop off with heart
failure, he says. 0
