Visit Shut-Ins
The Lions made their annual
visit on Christmas Eve to the sick
and shut-ins and leaving a treat,
for each one. Owing to inclem-
ent weather and heavy drifting
snow they were unable to have
their Christmas singing.
Children'S Party •
Bayfield Lions Club held its
annual Christmas party for the
children on Friday afternoon
December 21, in the Town Half.
Candy and oranges were distrib-
uted to the. children after which
tickets were drawn for an elect-
rical train and a walkie-talkie
doll. Winners of these prizes
were E. McFadden, Bayfield, and
Mrs. Thomas Riley, Clinton.

party of Trinity Anglican Church
'was held at the Orange Hall on
Friday evening. There was a
varied program and a peanut

of the late Mr. and Mrs. George
W. Church, Goderich Township.
David Hatmiltdn was a son of

HaMilton, Auburn. They were.
married in 1901 at the home of

years of their married. life were
spent farming in Colborne Town-
ship. They lived three and a
half years in Clinton, in which
;time Mr. Hamilton had several
agencies. They then went to their

have lived- for 33 years, farm-

Mission Band Meets
The regular meeting of the
Wilhelniine Mission Band was
held in the' school on Friday,
Dec. 7. The president, Sandra
Williams, was in charge, add
opened the meeting with hymn
423, "Away in a Manger," fol-
lowed by the scripture, Matthew
2:1-11 read by Kenneth Potter.
Franklin Yeo read a Christmas
prayer. The minutes of the. No-
vember meeting were read and
adopted, followed by the roll call.
The hymn 304, "0 Little Town
of Bethlehem" was sung, and the
leader, Mrs. Frank McCullough,
told a Christmas story. 'Victor
Corran had a reading on Peace.
Mrs. McCullough brought in the
slate of officers for 1952, and
the_xneeting closed With the sing-
ing of. several of the favourite
Christmas carob, followed by the
Mizpah benediction.

W. Doxsee, 72, Hensall, who died
suddenly from a heart attack,
while wintering at Orlando, Flor-
ida, were held in Toronto, a'nd
interment made in Prospect
