On Tuesday morning a number of
school children were folio -Wing Mr.
J. Gillespie's bus which was on its
way from the station, when it stop-
ped at the corner opposite the Main
St. church to let out a passenger.
At the same time there was an auto
following. One child not seeing the
auto ran right out in the path ,of the
approaching- car and was knocked
down. The &Inver stopped the car
and the child was dragged out from
beneath it. Luckily the child was
not 'killed. Every day' one can see
children following the bus or wagons
endangering „their dives. The child-
