A TRIBUTE
,In. Memory'' of Donald` McKay
God's hand. has beckoned once again
To take from us a friend,
The blessing of his quiet life,
Came to, a peaceful end.
We bow to -day in silent grief,
For one whom we loved well,
But God's love exceedeth ours,
He took •hien home to dwell. - .
A kindly friend has passe
And though our eyes are
Our loss is buf, •his gain,
Our cross,—a' crown for • him.
God's•will seems bard at times,
But we know it is best,
Ile calls us from our labour,
To perfect peace and' rest.
