itions. the Perth CountyMilk
committee invited former
princesies tp the :banquet,
with. a majority present. A
former princess, Mrs. ' Mar=
vin Hartwick of R.R. 6, St.
Marys. watched as her dau-
ghter Stephanie, competed-
in this year's competition. '

Dairy Princess, plays base-

girls' league, is a graduate of
Mitchell District High School
and is presently employed at
Thompson's Fruit Market in
Stratferd. Janet said' she may

schooling or else she'd like to.

Winthrop Young People

chocolate and cookies were

needs of the Alberta economy

newly elected president of the
CGAAA, '
Mr. Cook, speaking to the
graduates at their convoca-
tion exercises pointed out
that the rapidly expanding
Alberta economy faces a
shortage of professional ac-
countants which will become
even more acute before the
end of this decade.
An October meeting of the
McKillop unit of the U.C.W.
of Walton United Church was
held at the home of Ethel'
Dennis, Seaforth, with eight
members and six .guests
present. Mrs. ,Murray Den-
nis opened the meeting with,
a Thanksgiving verse. A
hymn was sung, with Mrs. C.
received their professional
accounting certification at the
annual meeting of the Certi-
fied General Accountants As-
edclation in Edmonton on
Sept. 26.
