Following the one month •
loan of a computer terminal,
Huron County Public Library
will submit. ii proposal to the
Huron County Library board
requesting it purchase a
similar terminal for $1.400 on
the recommendation of the
librarians. .
Midivestem Regional Li-
busty System, Kitchener, has
encouraged area° libraries to
loan 'the terminals on a trial
basis to test them for the
usefulness. Although hesit-
ant in the beginning, librar-
ians Grace MacDonald and '
Marian Doucette are very'
enthusiastic 'about. the use-
fulness of the computer.
They both agreed that "it is a
real time saver."
The • computer, 'which is
connected to Midwestern's
main storage bank by. dialing
a WATS number on the
telephone, has 'eliminated
several hours of paperwork.
