grade fo ur class dazzled the
crowd with three recorder
tunes. Although this group is
not yet ready for the O'Keefe
Centre they definitely have
learned a great deal ,:using
these instruments this year.
The final act Tuesday. even-
ing was the Paul Brothers
and Shirley, These profes-
sional entertainers really set
the tone to Celebrate Learn-
ing. They were the talk of
Vanastra for days! Wednes-
day was dress up day lit the
school. Everyone wore their
Sunday best. On Thursday
we had 50's Day. They
Happy Day's theme proved
to be one of the most popular
of the week. On Friday we
had an Open House and at
lunch time and after school
we launched two hundred
ballons to signal the end of
Education Week and to her-
ald the beginning of National
Book Festival. We truly cele-
brated Education Week at
the Vanastra Public School!
