HIS OWN CREATION — The wood splitter which is now a permanent
arxessory on Bob- Webster's 1953 _International Super W4 tractor was a
product of his Own imagination and design. The splitter, made mainly of
a.cylinder and hydraulic pump, some channel iron and a plow point for a
blade, "really works good", says Mr. Webster, who adds that the tractor
was originally sold in Seaforth, and was the first of its type in the area.

JUST .H ER- SIZE — For Julie Webster, 12, of
Varna, the cultivator which her, tflther, fashioned
for the back of the family gard0 trIkOtor means
extra money as she hires out herk'Services for
garden work and lawn cutting to area residents.
The cultivator was made by welding broken
teeth from a full-sized cultivator onto a sturdy
metal frame. (Photo by Ellis)
A PROUD OWNER f3ill Chestell of Varna sits atop the 1947 Case
tractor which he rebuilt last year after buying It as "a piece of junk". It
took him several months to complete the job, and now he uses thetraCtor
for various jobs, including hauling wood in the double axle trailer behind
him, which he also built. (PhOto by Ellis)"
