"Easter" a time , 'nf 'special meaning for many people-of Easter services in our local churches4he beaut, ifuf Easter hymns and Easter Sunday morning at Seaforth Manor Nursing Home the dining room tables each had a fresh "and of golden daffodils and pussy willoWs with an Easter favour for each resident. Special _thanks goes to Jackie Racho and Mary San- ders and helpers. Residents wore their little Easter cor- sages made by Joanne Ma- loney and beautiful- Easter lilies graced several resi- dents' rooms. Bessie David son received one from Edith Dunlop, Ruth Ann& Charlie; Ella Bissett one front her grandchildren and also Mr. and Mrs. Robert McClure received one. Thursday afternoon resi- ' dents received Easter treats from (Jo-Jo gunnY), Joanne Doherty and Marsha Taylor, Courtesy of the Van. Eginond House. Monday Nafternoon an Easter program- was enjoyed by over 30 residents who attended. Carol Carter was pianist and led a sing song of favourite hymns, Julie Carter played three selections on the piano.and a duet with her mother. Janice Carter gavea speech on "How Lucky I am", her experiences while in London Hospital. By special request Janice sang solo "Jesus Loves Me", accompanied by her mother Carol then, played. "Christ The' L-ord is Risen, Today". and several Easter Pieces -while Julie treated all resi- dents to goodies from her With Hattie Wood at the piano the residents enjoyed a hymn sing of favourite old hymns. Happy Birthday was song to the Residents celebrating thcif birthdays after receiv- ing their cards. PreUP of tea and.a cupcake concluded the much-enjayed . afternoon: • This week we also enjoyed a visit and programme by the. Harborairies front Goderich. We ^would like. to thank Margaret Mitchell again for basket. Bingo was then play ed by all with Judy .Nigh and Colleen Ungarian assisting.
