April 17th at the Vanastra Recrea- tion Centre from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Lioness Club 'Will also be4iialding a Penny Sale on Saturday, May 9th. The display will be set up in the Vanastra Factory Outlet with the draw being made at the Clinton Town Hall. On Thursday May 7th the Lion- ess Club will be attending a Lioness Rally in Woodstock. " - VANASTRA CHRISTIAN CHURCH There will be a good Friday service at 10 a.m. at the •• Vanastra Christian Church. All are invited to- attend:There will be special music for the service. On Easter Sunday.' April 19th, there will be a Community Breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. All are invited and are asked 'to bring rolls, muffins or buns. Coffee and drinks for the children will be provided. Families are also asked to bring a lily or potted flowers to decorate the church. These will be returned after the service at 10 a:m. There will also be special music at this service as •well. The Sunday School children and the Come Alive groups haye been busy making basked and decorating eggs for the breakfas t. The will be no Sunday 'School on Easter Sunday. " VANASTRA RECREATION CENTRE The 'Vanstra' Synchronized Swim Club competed 'in an invitational meet at Woodstock on Sunday. April 5th. In Level 11 Sentience. Cheryl Bromley of Londesboro and Heidi Hoernig, of Benmiller tied for 1st in 12 yrs. and under category. Lori Bromley of Londesboro placed third in the same event. Karin Hoernig placed , second and third in Level H Sequence 13 yrs. and over category. Anita Hallam of Auburn placed 1st in Figures Level HI for 13 yrs. and over. Other swimmers: Valerie Millson of Seaforth. Lisa Bosman of Londesboro, Lori Livermore of Clinton and Sarah Hoernig of Benmillir.
