"We had no set time to go out, we were
just thinking about it."
Before the negotiations Mr. Leslie ex-
plained there were only a few outstartding
items left to settle. including length of
contract and money. The company was
pushing for a three year contract but settled
for a two year agreement.
Mr. Evan'S agreed last week a deal with
the drivers was close. "not that far apart
that,reasonable bargaining won't solve it."
The general manager added there had
been iio_tebsion between the firm and the- -
union throughout the negotiations.

under the heading Husband Transport. is
ow ned by CN Transport.

TRUCK DAMAGED IN MONDAY MORNING ACCIDENT — This
transport, owned by triP_Slick...Chick,--Transport Ltd. of Brantford, was
badly damaged Monday when it rolled over in a ditch east of Dublin and
caught fire. Sebringviile OPP has not completed its investigation of
the ,accident, and the name of .the driver' was not available at press time.
