Broomball Tournament on
the weekend, with Queen's
Hotel edging Parr-Line 2-1 to
take the championship.
The men's final, pitting
Ariss Blue Boars from Elora
against the Palmerston
Farmers, went into overtime
before the Boars pumped in
. four unanswered gOals to
take the title.
This year's tournament
attracted 28 men's teams and
12 ladies' clubs and
according to co-chairman'
Gord pick. was' the best
'tournament in the event's 10 •
year history.
"Many more' people'.
stayed around to watch' this -
year." he explained. "And
the games were better. "

gaining a bye into the ladies'
finals. Part-line had to beat
Chiselhurst, Blyth Baintone-
ers and Competition Cougars
of Mt. Forest to reach the •
finals.
In men's semi-finals the
Blue Boars dumped
Winthrop Wildcats 3-1 while
Palmerstdn shutout Arthur
Rang-A-tangs 3-0 to advancep
