birthday
Christmas means to me a
holiday in which we celebrate
Jesus' birth 'which took place
in a lowly manger because
there was no room for them
in the inn. While shepherds
watched their flocks by night
the angel of the Lord came
down and said to them "Fear..•
not for behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy
A .Th0 ..wooder
of cheitmos,

which shall be to all people. 'O's means shepherds came,
For unto you is born in the and that's why there's
city of David a, Saviour which
is Christ the Lord: If this
hadn't happened we would
have a terrible world. If God
hadn't sent Jesus from
heaven to this day hardly
anyone would believe in
Jesus' message of love.
As you, know on the first
day of a new year, we call the
day New Year's day. Almost.
everybody on that day has
one New Yea'f's Resolution
or more. My New Year's.
Resolution is I will try to keep
my room clean because I
hope to get a new piece of
furniture for my room on
Christmas.

Christmas day. Merry
Christmas:
The Christmas lights all
dazzling bright, .
Cast an enchantment into the
night
And as the boy sat by the fire
He thought of the gifts, that
he most desired
And at the sound of a knock
on the door,
As quick as a wit% he was up
off the floor.
When he opened the door,
snow was falling lightly as
far as ho could see
And Gramma and Grandpa
were standing there much to
his glee.
I will be nice and kind and
good,
Like I know I always should.
I will help Dad with the
chores,
Even if it is a bore,
I will do my homework each
night,

For there were lots of stories
he would love to believe
That his Grandpa would tell
him about Christmas eve.
When that jolly old fat man
with reindeer and sleigh
Would deliver kids' gifts tor
Christmas day.
And with -these thoughts all
up in his head
He would make his way
sleepily up to his bed,
To dream of the merriness,
fun and joy
Of Christmas day in the life
of a boy. '
And make sure it is always
right,
I will always feed my dogs,
Even if it is a job
I will remember what Christ-
mas is for.
It's loving and giving for-
evermore.

To me Christmas means
happiness and giving. The
parents have fun watching
their children opening 'their
presents on Christmas. The
children are in a way taking
the place of Jesus on Christ-
mas. Jesus was given gifts
and the children 'were given
gifts. They also both accep-
ted the gifts. The smaller
children think of Christmas
as a holiday when Santa
Claus brings presents to the
small and good children.
Others think of Christmas as
Jesus's birthday. What does
Christmas mean to you?
