The Seaforth police
department is continuing its
investigation of the recent
theft from the Canadian Tire
store.
Posters with an artist's
sketch of the suspect have
bee ' ulated to "'police
depart ents throughout
south stern Ontario and
informs ion about the
suspect is now• carried on the
Canadian Police Information
System.
constable Charles Akey
said a number of leads have
been followed up, but have
proved fruitless to date.
There is however, some
possibility that the suspect
has struck again. A business
in Listowel had money stolen
from it and • Cot•Atable Akey
said the "modus operandi"
was The same as in the
Canadian Tire theft.
However", it is only
supposition at this• point that
the theft was carried out by
the same man.
Constable Akey reported
Seaforth police experienced a
quiet week with 'no serious
accidents..
