James Public School with
their teacher Mr. , Shaunessy
accompanying at the piano
for a lovely program of music
last Wednesday. Also on
Tuesday this ' week? ' Mrs.
Griffith and Mrs. Patterson
with • some sixty children of
the Seaforth Public School
presented a Christmas
Cantata' with commentary by
Joan Johnston Everyone,
' enjoyed hearing their fine
young voices and also the
Christmas carols. After a
merry ". handshake arid
i greeting, homemade cookies

our residents . with many

Sunday morning. She died
.one year ago on December
15th. They,were placed there

There was also a basket of
flowers in the same church
from the funeral . of the late
Carl Steinbach On Satu'rday.
Sincere 'sympathy is
extended to the; Steinbach
family. The ' late Carl
Steinbach is survived by his
wife Ma, two sons, Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Steinbach, Mr.
__and Mrs.._ _Larry Steinbach,
one daughter, Dianne, Mrs.
Glen Wettlaufer, three
grandchildren, Bruce,
Shelley and Robert, one
brother Dalton and three
sisters (Martha) Mrs. Chas.
Gethke, (Elsie) Mrs. Keith
Parson, (Norma) Mrs. Clifton
Heckman.
Mr. Steinbach died
suddenly at his home in
Mitchell at the age of 60. The
-tieral was • held at
Lockhart's funeral home with
Rev. Deas officiating. He
was laid to rest • at the
Elizabeth Ritz Memorial
Chapel with burial at a later
date in the Woodland
Cemetery.'
Mt. Steinbach was
formerly from the 12 of
Logan. He was a member of
St. Peter's Lutheran Church
[where he was baptized and
confirmed,
