ceremonies and a viewing of
wedding • dresses
that had been worn by
women'in the community on
their wedding day.
Models were Lerrie Pryce,
Lynn Dodds, Bonnie Storey
and Debbie Rulley. Bonnie
modelled a wedding dress
that was worn by her great,
great great grandmother and
was 105 years old.
Mina Scott played
traditional. music while the
girls were modelling the
dresses.
Doris was then ask to the
front of the Sunday school
room with her mother Pearl
and future mother-in-lawn
Mrs. Margaret Fielder.
Dorothy Dalton read an ad-
dress and Doris was pre-
sented with gifts. Doris
thanked the ladies and in-
vited every lady to come and
see her gifts at the home of
her parents.

At the regular November
meeting, Loga n Township
Council dealt: with the prob-
lem of holding a liquor
plebiscite in the township, In
1960 a vote was held approv-
ing the sale of beer and wine.
As, of Dec. 31, 1978, the
Liquor Licence Board can not
issue special occasion per-
mits for the sale of spirits,
beer and wine in Logan
Surrender". The offering
was taken by Mrs. M. Hack-
well and dedicated by Mrs..
Burch. Hymn; "Abide with
Me" was sung. Mrs. Burch
read a reading "Remem-
brance Day."
Mrs. M. Hackwell pre-
sided for business also read a
poem •on "Remembrance
Day". Minutes of the last
meeting were read followed
by roll call. Mrs. Hackwell
closed with prayer.
A social half hour was
spent and lunch was served
by Mrs. N. Schade,' Mrs.' S.
McCall, Mrs. H. Hudie and
hostess Mrs. M. Dennis.

At the betobeir 11th meet-
ing of Council, the tender for
materials and construction of
the Feltz Municipal Drain
was awarded to G. Gollan of
Listowel for $3,507.00. Feltz
Fuels Limited of Mitchell
was awarded the contract for
supplying fuel to the town-
ship. Three restricted area
by-laws were passed, affect-
ing lots 28 and 29, concession
9 (Carl Rose), Lots 33 and 34,
Concession 14 (Arthur Hinz;,
