The rally is to be held in Huron Sopth in 1979 - place be chosen at a la r date. , In other business, the president thanked everybody who had helped in any way with the Women's Exhibit at the fairs and announced that the 64th Annual Convention for London Area would be held at the Banqueter in London on November 1 and 2 but was unable to find a delegate . to attend. Thee resolutions from the Innerkip branch from Oxford North Were read, discussed and voted upon. Plans were then finalized for the Dessert Euchre to be held in the Legion Hall on October 18 and after the Novebcr meeting schedule was re- viewed the meeting closed with the Queen. Hostesses, Mrs, Eileen !tannic and Mrs. Winnie Skea and their com- mittee served a lovely lunch; programme convenors were. Mrs. Pearl Koehler and Mrs. Myrtle Sherritt. Hensall Legion Golf Tournament wishes to ex ' tend many thanks to those who helped to make it a memorable success. Everybody got a title page called the Cooking adjourned. Hensall 4-H club#2, held their third' meeting at the Hensall United Church on Tuesday, October 10. The presi*.4 opened by saying the Pledge and then the members tasted Potato Cheese Chowder and Peanut Butter and Carrot spread.. Mrs, Myrtle Sherritt thanked bath speakers and presented Miss McClenaghan with a gift. The program opened with a sing-song, and closed with Mrs. Elizabeth Riley giving courtesy remarks. The 17 members answered the roll call, "Name a Canadian export and its destination',' and three guests were present. The president. Mrs, Joyce Pep- per chaired the meeting and opened with a poem, "Rea- , sons for life". This was the Agriculture and Canadian Industries Meeting. Correspondence included an invitation to Seaforth Women's Institute which re- gretfully no-one was able' to' attend; a cheque from Exeter committee for the Women's Institute exhibit,, a letter, from the Provincial Secretary of Social Develop- ment requesting support and participation of the Institute to help develOp awareness and enthusiasm for Inter- national Year of the Child (IVC) and to promote activity on behalf of our children; and a letter from the Home Folionlist.
