Another. possibility is the

There is also a wider

Whippets try but lose to Exeter
groups for Activity Day.
Each was split up into three
groups and competed against
each other in baseball', Soc-
cer and football.
The activities, were a half
hour long each, which
brought us up to three
o'clock. A few minutes later
the results were in. Comet
house won, followed by
Aurora Borealis, Phoenix
and last but not least,
Taurus.
I'm sure everyone enjoyed
having shorter classes, so
let's hope for more days like

Gayle well can figure that
one out.).
I would like to congratulate
Gayle on being this week's
student .of the week. Way to . . .

Our prinjelpal, mlr, anow,
and the teachers are also
contributing, Mr Shaw has
already given us two activity
days and short days when
classes end at two o'clock, so
we can go to watch basket

Or maybe, it's the small
closely knit atmosphere of ,
ithe school that makes us
strive to do our best at
' everything:,
These could all be factors
as to the develo ment of
school spirit or may it is an
entirely different reason,
Whatever the cause, I know
school spirit is here and
hopefully, to stay,

lives once more at S.D.H.S.
Maybe it has to do with the
