United. Church on October 7 in a double ring ceremony..
Rev. R. McMulle.n officiated at the ceremony. The bride
was given in marriage by her father. The matron of honor
was Mrs. 'Marie Fitzsimmons of Bayfield 'and the
bridesmaids were Margarite Snell,. sister of the groom;
Mrs Helen. Westrsa, friend of the bride from Chatham;
and the bride's sisters, Mrs. Debra Paton of Mount Elgin '
and Sally Brodie of Brucefield. The groomsman was Harris
Snell of LondeSboro and the ushers. were Bob Colemaaof-
Kitchener, Ron Irwin of London, Robert' Snell,• brother of
the groom and. David Brodie, brother of the bride, The .
organist Was Mrs. DOrothY McGregor and Anne Snell, 'a
sister of the groom, was the soloist. Glen McGregor piped
the bridal party out of the church following the ceremony.
Following the wedding, a dinner was held in the church
hall, followed by a 'dance in the Hensall Community Hall.

On Saturday, August 12. 1978 at 3:00 p.m. in St.
Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Dublin. Colleen Rita,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Rowland, and Brian
Douglas, son of Mr. and Mrs. , Frank tickmeier of
R,R.5, Mitchell, were united in marriage. Following the
double ring ceremony. Rev. Gordon Dill celebrated the
Nupital Mass. Altar Boys were Pat Bruxer and John
Rowland, cousin of the bride. Miss Jayne Delaney of
Dublin was organist and was accompanied by Debra
Scheeler of Stratford, and Audrey Mulholland of
London who sang during the celebration of the
ceremony, and the Mass. Larry Flanagan presented the
readings. The bride's attendants were her sisters,
Luanne Rowland as maid of honour, Mary Margaret
Murtha as bridesmaid, as well -as the bride's cousin..
Denise Lane. and the gloom's sister, Brenda Smith,
Ron Smith, the groom's brother-in-law, acted as best
man. The ushers were friends of the groom. Darwin
Dietz and Bob Caritpbell, and the bride,'s brother, Pat
Rouiland: Following the dinner at Hessen Haus of
Seaforth, and the reception at the Dublin Athletic
Association Pavillion, the bridal couple travelled to
Niagara Falls and northern New York state And are now
