No defense but a bunch of guys who can score goals. Dale Kennedy; Clive Buist, Larry Broome and Cord Moyland can all score. goals. This le.aitc. will probably win a lot, fo 8-6 games but should finish second, Wings: Another ex- ceptionaly strong defense here, Kevin Bennett, George Reeves, and Lloyd Eisler provide the backline strength again, the Wings are another team weak up front, .lim McLeod and Art Strong can score and should help in getting the Red Shirts a third place finish Potential Hawks: There is a team with the most scoring Stars. They could get to fourth with some luck. Flyers: Flyers have a good goaltender in Scott King. Steve Southgate and Ralph Wood will provide the scoring duties. This team could move• up because the Hawks, potential of any club in the league. Kevan Brooine, Glen Nicholson, Jerry Feeny, Ter- ry Stevenson and Dave'. Broome are all proven goal getters. Two squads have 10 players while 4 dubs have just a skaters a piece.. That could make for some fun if,players fail to show. However, the league is going to have another draft and will seek -the services of 10 more skaters.' Six Clubs As it is, we will have a look at the six clubs and attempf to make a forecast. Blues: Ben Akker did the wisest thing and chose the best goalie first. Rick For- tune backs a solid defense, led by Ken Deveraux and Jim Sills, perhaps the two best in the league. The only problem this team has is scoring punch. There is very little but this club has the parts to finish first.
