I received the Huron Expositor to
find out tliat you have accepted to
continue the work Vincent Lane
did so thoroughly.
The Huron kxpOsitor is one of
the few weekly papers that has
advanced with time and' this is
mainly due to the fact that it
always concentrated on the things
,people found interesting and
informative and local.
After an absence of 64 years
away from the locality I still find
many of the happenings appeal-
ing. In 1902 we had no'mail
delivery so every Sunday after
mass we picked up our mail at. St .
Columban post office and a man
by the name of Mike O'Connor
was the. correspondent.
Once or twice a month my
father drove to Seaforth to
exchange the dried apples foe;
