Finnigan of Zurich were in Barrie attending the recent funeral of
the late Arthur F. Edmunils.
Bryan Vincent was successful in taking 1st and 3rd prizes at
Erin and 2nd prize at Lindsay in recent tractor pulling contests.
He will compete in the tractor pulling events being held in
connection with the Seaforth Lions Summer Carnival.
Mr:and Mrs. W. J. Shearing'and family of Morrisburg spent a
few days with his mother Mrs. Joseph T. Hugill and Mr. Hugill.

reader who is - upset !that his exploitS weren't covered. The

call.
An irate reader phoned the paper, peeved that the paper
didn't run a story about an early morning robbery.
"I robbed the Port of Entry Booth 5A an the turnpike about
2C1 this morning, and I'm quite proud of it." was wondering
--why there wasn't anything in the paper about it. It was a good,
clean holdup. I took $1,247 and filing cabinet full of permits,"
the caller told .the Star reporter.
When the reporter checked the story out, he found there had
been a turnpike robbery.
