Visitors: Rev. M. E. Reuber
came and administered Holy

residents. This will be his last
r visit as he is retiring from the
ministry of Northside United
Church with his last service June
25. He will reside in Stratford.
Kelly Dalton called, recently
returned from Florida. He
brought along his shuffle board
ttophy to show us, He has won
several of these in Florida. -

visited friends at the Home.
Mrs. Corrie Klaver, Clinton,
with Mrs. Sillery and Mrs.,
Brightrall.
Mrs. Lloyd Pipe, Londesboro, a
former member of the Staff called
this week and renewed old
friendships.

'Birthday Greetings to Jack
Tiernay, Blyth, who celebrated
his birthday June 21. For this
occasion the residents gathered in
the little sittingrootn for a sing-
song, with Elaine Floyd at the
piano. They sang Happ9birthday
te Jack and his birthday cake was
brought Heim the kitchen
complete with lighted candles.
According to tradition the
celebrant makes a secret, wish
which they get if they blew out all
'candles with one blow which Jack
was able to do.
We lingered,a while and sang a
few more familiar songs from our
"Songs for Senibrs".
Mrs. Mary Black, Ripley. came
and showed us slides which her
• son Jim had taken on a bicycle
trip to Victoria B.C.
Mrs, Black is a., friend of our
activist Ruth Mauers Seaforth.
Her son crossed the lake at
Tobermory and proceeded by
bicycle across Canada to Victoria
The slides showed highlights of
his trip. The mountain scenes
ist, were very impreasive.
Lori Lingelbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Lhigelbach of
Seaforth and Allan Douglas Bisback, son of Gradt Bisback and
the late Mrs, Mary Bisback of Hensall, were married in
Northside United Church, Seaforth on June 24. Rev. Mervyn
Reuber officiated At the ceremony. The bride was given in
marriage by her father. The maid of honor was Mrs. Becky
Bowerbank, of Burlington sister of the bride. The bridesmaids
were Mrs. Helen Kyle of Hensall and Mrs. Janet Van Bakel of
Seaforth. The grOnmsmin was Ray Archef of Ecnonton, Alberta
and the ushers were Doug Kyle of Hensall and Sandy Ingram of
Windsor. The organist was Miss Linda Bell. Following the
wedding; the reception was held at the Pineridge Chalet. Guests
attended the wedding frompttawd, Burlington, Edmonton,
Leamington, Aryr and Guelph. Following a wedding trip 'to
Prince Edward Island, the couple will reside at 23 Hill Street,
Grand Bend. Before tiler marriage the bride was honoured at •
showers given by Mrs. George Coe, Guelph and Mrs. Warren
Vincent, Ayr at the latter's home; Mrs. Carl Smith, Ayr; Mrs.
Ethel Lee and Mrs. Vera Basjendorff, New Hamburg; Mrs.
Marlon Vincent, Seaforth and family gathering for the bridal
couple at home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bisback, Hensall.
