Ride your tricycle on...the sidewalk, it's safer by far.
On the road you're in danger from truck and from car.

appreciated.
In beginniog, we put"two sticks
on both, sides. so. the clay' would
have the same thickness, when
we rolled it out. Examples made
were vases. plaques. achy candle-.
holders which turned out to be
very original. A few of the clay

Staining and Displaying Pottery
After the pottery • has . been
made, sanded, and fixed once the
process of staining (glazing) the
pottery takes place. Mr. Carrot
and Mrs. Bell were there to assist
-us in ease of a disaster which
could occur any time. 1 you had a
long hollow pottery then you took
it to Mr. Carroll where he mired
runny glaze inside the pottery. By
doing this it made the 'inside
smooth. The outside was painted
with a brush with whatever colour
of glaze you liked. Mrs. Bell had
many colours and Mixtures ready
for Us to ttse .111 our pottery. Next
the pottery was fired for its last
time. The slab .pottery was a
success. There were many
beautiful results in everyone's
pottery. Mr. Carroll let us display
the pottery in the show ease near
the front door. it was Naced in
the front hall. for educatinn week
-where -it-co-old -b-e- seen
The reason ler our making the
pottery was because the week
before we started the pottery
Mrs. Bell Made us design a room
that we would 'like to have. The
pottery was made to complement
the room. It was to be for
ourselves, to keep forever.
