The Binrielidyks were
presented with the highest
supervised herd award by Lorne
Marshall. of Kirkton,
Southwestern Ontario supervisor
of the Dairy Herd I mprovemeht
Association. They had the highest
composite breed class average
(BCA) for herds on the supervised'
testing program with 146 BCA for
46 cows.
Placing second : was Karl
Neubrapd OMR! , Bornholm with ,
a BCA Of 143 on 38 cows.
The Binnendyk's had the first
and second place cows for highest
composite 13C A: Ond •cow
(Holstein) had a BCA of 207.5'and
the other a BCA of 205,6.
For owner-sampler herds in the
puron—Perth area, the top herds
were: Roy Beuermann of RR1,
Dublin with a BCA ' - of 144.5;
Harry Pennings of R111., Zurich
with a BCA of 123.5; and Alvin
..Kemp of RR1 Fullerton with a
BCA of 121.5.
