Last Friday Mr. Sam Appelbyof
Mallett had avery narrow esape
from serious injury and possible
death. He was coming to town in a
cart and when opposite Fair's mill at,

horse started at a rapid speed, but

rig was upset and Mr. Appelby
thrown violently to the ground. Ile
was picked up in a limp and dazed
