For years stories of famous cures
wrought by Dr. Williams Pink Pills
have appeared in the Chronicle.
During this time we have been cast-

ing about for a local case of such a
nature as to leave no doubt of the
efficiency of these pills. We have
found several, but in each case it
proved to be a sensitive body who
could not bear to have his or her
name and disease made public. Re-
cently, however a most striking case
came to our ears.

Mr. Fax was on a concert tour
down east, when first taken ill, and
when at Huntingdon, Que., about
four weeks ago, some of his friends
persuaded him to go to the hospital
in Montreal.
It is understood that from the first
the doctors entertained little hope of
his recovery. His brothers James, of
Toronto, and George, of Belleville,
and Mrs. Fax went to him, that they
might spend his hast hours on earth
together.
Mr. Fax retained his consciousness
till almost the last, when he dropped
into a quiet sleep. His brothers and
wife accompanied the remains home.
