Walter Earl Clark, died •
March 19th at Seaforth
Community Hospital. He was
born at Petrplia and was in his
89th year. His wife Maud died
about five years ago and for the
past four ye,gars he made his home
with Mrs, Thelma Mills of # 4
Walton.
He leaves two sons Leonard
and Kenneth and six
grandchildren of Montreal. He
also leaves three brothers and one
sister.
The funeral was held March
23rd from Don Morris Funeral
Home of Windsor. The Rev. Wm.
Graham conducted the
service. Burial took place at
-Greenland" Memorial Gardens,
Windsor.

' Maurice Patrick Melady, 80
iof RR 2, Dublin, died Tuesday at
the Seaforth
Ffoipital.
Born'i'n Hibbert Township, he
was a son of the late Joseph and
Mary Ann (MOrris) Melady.
In 1937 in Clinton he married
the former Mary C. Flynn. The
couple farmed in Hibbert
Township until retiring in 1973.
Surviving besides his wife are a
datighter, Mrs. Glen (Mary)
Butters of Edmonton; •sont, 'John"
F... Brighton; Theodore J. and
'James E. both -of RR 2, Dublin;.
two brothers, Thomas of Toronto
and Frank of Peterboro • and to
grandchildren. •
The body is at the R.S. Box
Funeral Home. Funeral mass will
be celebrated today, Thursday at
10:30 a.m. at St. Columban
Roman Catholic Church with Rev.
Thomas G. Melady.. officiating
with itnerment in the Parish
Cemetery.
Prayers were said at the funeral
home Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
Pallbearers are Frank Nigh,
James Ducharme, Jack Morris,
Lou Morris, Joseph A. Lane and

resided in Seaforth for 110 years.
While at resident here . she was

Lodge, • Eastern Star, Hospital
Auxiliary and in First
Presbyterian Churelir

October 1966 she married Aaron.

survives together with a

There are 10 grandchildren, and a

Wednesday, March 23, 1977, in
his 67th year, He was born in
Egmondville, a son of MrS.
W.J.Finnigan of Bluewater Rest
Home, Zurich, and the late Mr.,
Finnigan.
A graduate of Seaforth
Collegiate Institute, he was a
grocer. In later years , he owned
the former general store in
Egmondville which his family had
had for many years. He retired in

in her early life, and later farmed
with her husband in Stanley
Township.- She retired to Seaforth
in 1965.
In 1920, she married John
Alfred Johnston. who
predeceased her.,. in 1976. Mrs.
Johnston is survived by one
daughter. Helen. Mrs William
Burdge. of Owen Sound-and two
sons, Murvin A. Johnston.. of
Varna, and J. Bruce Johnston: of
