The thinning out portion of this
season's LH.L, playoffs was

Three teams, or half the
league, were officially eliminated
,from the finals which will. get
underway in •'a 'couple or weeks.
• The 'Sias, Kings and Flyers
will now jsut be going through the
motions for the next two games
while .the , Blues, Wings and
Hawks will continue to do battle
for the two "final berths." •

record by scoring three short-
handed goals. And two of those
.goals came during the same
penalty-killing shift.
Gary Finigan scored 3 goals for
• the Stars with 2 of those being of
the short-handed variety.' Dave
Langstaff added , a pair of goals
with' KenDevereaux getting the
third shorthanded score.
Hot-shooting -Paul Hulley
netted two goals for' the' 'Flyers
with Jim WAtson chipping in a
single tally.

The Blues continued to roll
right along by drubbing the
.. Hawks -17 - 2 during last Sundays
middle contest.
• The 3-0 Blues got a hat trick
from Ralph Wood. Single markers
