Snow and ice, how's that for a
combination? Lately tire§ all
anyone around here sees. All of
you m the community know what
a botherjt is put.do,you know how
it affects the school?
After that big storm, the 'first
thing the students found-out was
there would be no more short
days. We still haye the basketball
gantes but the students were not
let out at 2:00 to see them. We
also found out that the exams
won't really be affected by 'our
long absence. -
We have also been, having '
some one clay storms where
students can't get in to school or
else we „are sent home.. This
interferes greatly •with the many
tests that are being given before
exams. However, everything
should be back to normal 'after the
Parsons exams are over.

Friday, February 18th the
Students Council launched the ,
1977 chocolate bar campaign. The
bars disappeared from the.,,office
so fast, some people didn't get
any! Now, almost two weeks
later, the campaign is an obvions
success.
By Tuesday,. $2,356.00 worth
had been sold:J.81s the top class,
led by the fanatical salesman;
Tim Bearss, who is first in the
individual sales overall. with
$158.00. Jim Laverty is-second
with $119.00 and Sandra-Staffeit'

A DISASTROUS FIRE — The Ken, McKay 'family lost their home and all their
belongings Friday when fire destroyed their Tuckermilih township house.
Firemen, trifORS and .hoses from three departments were at° the blaze but were
unable to save the home. The McKays haven't decided yet whether or not they'll,
