Meet the
Mr. Bill Milison, who teaches
the Grade 8 classhere at Hullett
has taught in Clinton Public
School and here at Hullett before.
He has taught mathematics in
both of these schools. This year
he teaches senior,math and senior
boy's physical education and
health. He is also the vice-
principal of Hullett.

This year, the new secretary
here at Hullett Central is Mrs.'
Mann. Before coming to Huliett,
she was a secretary at Clinton
Public School. Mrs. Mann lives in
Clinten. Her favorites in pastimes
~are bowling, reading arid"'S'ewing.
Secretarial work has been her life
profession and she enjoys her
occupation very much.

Laurence J.Reichert, 68, of
Zurich, was killed Monday in a
two-vehicle crash on Highway 4
about 1% miles south of Clinton
here.

police said Mr. Reichert was
driving south through
wind-driven snow just before 9
a.m. when his small car was in
collision with a 'pickup truck
driven by Douglas Swan of R.R.1,
Brucefield. Mr. Swan, who was
not seriously injured, is in his
early 20s, police said.
At its regular December
meeting on Monday the Huron
County Board of Education
approved applications for field
trips from Huron Centennial
School and F.E. Madill Secondary
School. Total cost to the Board
was $325.
As the result of one approval 71
students from Huron Centennial
School from the grade eight level
will visit the nation's capital
between May 10 and 12 next year.
They will be under the supervi-
sion of four teachers.
The students will travel by bus
to Stratford and then by train to
Ottawa where they will visit the
Parliament Buildings, meet their
member and view a session of
Parliament. They will also tour
the National Arts Centre, the
Science Centre, the Dominion
War Museum, the National
Museum of Man and Earth.
So far the students have raised
$37 through projects and each will
pay $20 toward the excursion.
Costs to the board will amount 4,,
$100 toward the bus charter and
$252 for supply teachers,

Barrie sometime during January

Falconer
wins sign
contest
Brian Falconer, R.R.#4,
Seaforth was the 1976 winner of
the Huron County 4-H Gate Sign
Competition. Brian, a member of
the Kippfield 4-H Calf Club,
received the. Hallrice Farms
Trophy from Blyth at the annual
4-H awards night held in Clinton
last month.
During the summer, pictures
were taken of the nineteen
different entries in this
competition and at the 4-H club'
leaders meeting. in October, the
photos were judged by all the
leaders in the County.
