Regele and Brenda Glanville visited on Monday with Mrs. Lorna Dickison and Mrs. Harold Smyth of Brodhagen. Staffa home to find their family, relatives and friends assembled to extend congratulations .on their twenty-fifth wedding-, anniversary. Guests' attended from Barrie, Connolly and Jennifer from Stratford. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Ahrens, Blizelbeth and Melanie Burlington have returned hone after spend- ing,two week's holidays with the formers, parents Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Ahrens. Mrs. Clayton Ahrens attended a seminar at Indianapolis staffed by University Associates., of San Diego in California for a week, then joined her family here over the weekend and all left for Burlington Sunday evening. Weare pleased to hear M'r. and Mrs. Ed Stephan, who were confined to Avoncrest, have returned to their home. Sympathy is extended to the family of the late William Manley who passed away in Seaforth Community Hospital. Miss Emma Buddenhagen of Kitchener spent a few days with her relatives. Quite a number from the mmunity were guests t the an - Neilsen wedding Obituary Frederick Adam Kistner Frederick Adam Kistler, 73, of Brodhagen, died at Seaforth *Community Hospital, Wednes- day, August 4. He' had been seriously' ill, for the past month. Mr. Kistner was born in Logan Township, February 25, 1903, a son of the late John Kistner and the former Augusta Scherbarth. • He was a farmer and drainage contractor in. Logan. Township. He was a member, of the St, Peter's Lutheran. Church, Brodhagen. He married Viola Rock, October 3, • 1928, and was predeedised "by her, April 26, 1975. Surviving are one son Roy, of R.R. 2, Monkton; and one daugh- ter, Mrs. Donald (Verna) Jack- son, of Goderich; three brothers, Daniel of Stettler, Alberta; John, of Mitchell; and Gordon of R.R. 1, Bornholm; and six grandchildren. The body was at the Heath- Leslie Funeffil Home after 2 p.m. Friday. Services , •ere held Satur- day at 1:30 p.m. Burial followed in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Brodhagen. Mrs. Keith. They are as follows: Assist Public, 10; Disturbances, 5; Insecure Pro- perty, 2; Thefts, 4; Animal Complaints, 3; Assist Other Pds, 2; Lost & Found, 1; Damage Complaints, 1. Three 'minor Motor Vehicle collisions were investigated with damages totaling $450.00. Two persons were charged under the Criminal Code. Three persons were charged under the Liquor License Act. St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pastor Horst conducted the worship service for the funeral of Mrs. Wanda Smith, Brussels. There were 2 baskets of flowers in church from the funeral onSunday bellsmoing Weddingrang on Satur- day for the Berserd-Wolfe wed- ding in St. ,Peter's Lutheran Church. The service was conducted by pastor Horst. White and yellow daisies graced the altar from the wedding on Sunday moornning. Saturday at one-thirty, Pastor Horst conducted the wor- ship service for the late Fred Kistner at the Heath-Leslie Funeral Home. He was laid to rest in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mrs. Norman Bennewies accompanied her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mt's. Wilfred Drager, Seaforth to visit the -former's brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Messer- schmidt in Detroit over the weekend. Mrs. Wm.
