grant, there MUST be three exhibitors in each breed or groups of breeds,
If there are not three exhibitors the Society will pay 50% of the prize
money offered.

2. Exhibitors must become members of the Seaforth Agricultural Society
and also the Perth-Fturon Jersey Club.
3. General rules of the Seaforth Agricultural Society shall govern except
where special rules of this show apply.
4. Entry fee is 15% of the prize money won.
5. All cattle must be on the grounds by 11:00 a.m, the day of the show.
'Judging will commence at 12:30 p.m. No animals will be allowed to
leaVe the grounds before 5:00 p.m.
6. All exhibitors must get a Nerd Health Certificate from:

that every exhibitor may show two animals in two classes of his own

9. All cattle being exhibited at the show will require a negative test for
Brucellosis conducted within 60 days of the date of the show except:

c. Animals originating from a BruCellosis free herd.

The classifications may be offered to individual breeds which have
registered in a Canadian herdbook at least a minimum of 1000 head in
the preceding year., ,
2. Six Castes fOr Breeding Animals
Plus the "interbreed" Single Barrow Class (Optional), Al) breeding
class entries must be owned by, and registered in the name of, the
exhibitor. Ages -to be computed from the date of birth to th e first day
of the month in which the fair opens and no animal to become ineligible
to snow during the duiation of the show.
A. Boars
( I) 8 months and under 10 months of age
'(2) 6 months and under 8, months of age.
B, Gilts
(1) 10 months and under 12 months of age (evidence of being in pig)
(2) 8 months and under 10 months of age
(3) 6 months and° under 8 months of age
C. Breeders Herd
A group of 4 animals, Both sexes to be represented. Each animal
in the group must have been exhibited in one of the above classes,
Entries must meet with the requirements'set out in General Rules I (b).
Group Classes.
3. R.O,P. Requirements for Entries In Classes for Breeding Animals.
Either the entry itself or the sire must have ,completed test under
One phase of the R.O.P. Program. If. the entry itse If has a performance.
record it must qualify on its own merits. The minimum requirements of
the entry itself or the sire are as follows:
Boar Performance Test or Home Test Program
Adjusted Age to 200 lbs. live weight ' 175 days
Adjusted Backfat to 200 lbs. live weight .80 inches
Sire Progency Tests
Average Daily Gain on Test .1.80 lbs/day or higher
Total fat 3.8 ins: or lower
It is mandatory that official test results be listed on the entry Tor;
and listed in the fair catalogue, if one. is published.
(a) From a dam which has a carcass score equal to or better than
78,1% (Estimated yield of trimmed cuts.)
(b) Front a sire which had a minimum of three Litter Testi with
scores, that average at least the minimum standards as set 'above,,
Home Herd Probe and Weight Program (including Board Performance
Test at Statilan)
