Nothing I would have liked
better than have been able.to take
in some of the activities some-
where at, the Olympics, but to me
Montreal looks a long way off,
Surprisingly enough, quite a few
from this locality were there.
Several reported . a coincidence
that they met or saw someone
from their own town among some
20,000 people.
I talked with some who were
there and they thought it well
worth the trip. Some of our boys,
as you perhaps noticed in last
week's paper, made it in record
time, and they enjoyed it as well.
Whether it was because of the
record they established, or what
they'saw, I have not been able to
establish.
Anyway it's all over now and
was a great success." It will be
some time yet I suppose before
they know how successful it was
'dollar wise.
One would have to xarvel at
.,the way it was so well organized,
in spite of all the predictions that
it may not come off.
