Tunnelling operations have been completed under Oak and Main and under Jarvis and Oak, he said. —The tunnel crews will now move to work on Welsh and Main and on Crombie under the CNR crossing.. Sewer construction has been completed south of the CNR tracks with the exception of two easements yet to be negotiated. Crews will now move to work on Anne St. from James St. to Centre St. and to Goderich St. West. The committee decided that it wouldn't object to a detour being set up on Goderich Street West when it is absolutely necessary, but the detour will . only be permitted during the. daytime working hours. The sewers on Goderich St. West will be installed slightly to the north of the centre line, but can't be moved to the shoulder of the. road as they did on Godetich St. East because the line has to service both sides of the street, all ;maga Sublaal IS china* THURSDAY NIGHT ONLY The treat Entertainment Adventure of Our Time ADULT "Tilt Hindenbu • •:" - FORONE"ag 23 THOU 29 JULY ma is Adylf 11rtteri•in The only TIN , Original vi't, BILLY AC - 1.1111(tAtilfliii.06.00.1.101.0Au.k4lahr •••••••1101.0aa4••••••••ffiltpt4.44terrir • imisiiViikri•tlii••••do•••46a0 •4••••00...0404«•••••:••••.••i•••••• swot" (lova, "o • • BACK TO THE BUS — Some of the participants in the Heritage Tour of Seaforth buildings head back to the bus froM St. Thomas Anglican Church .on Saturday afternoon. K. Bilanski, of 'the School of Engineering at the Ontario Agricultural College. "Microwave ovens can make moisture content determinations quiekand For example, a. farmer may want tkensile‘hay at about 6/ per cent moisture content, rake hdy at 50 per cent moisture content, or bale at 20 per cent moisture content; or he may wish to make a quick determination of the moisture content of his corn or grain when getting ready for , harvest. In all of these cases, the moisture content will change considerably during the time it takes to make the moisture determination using conventional methods. But time is of the essence to answer whether the• crop will combine or store safely., Tests indicate that by microwave oven about 35 per cent of the moisture can be removed from corn in less than 1-.5 minutes. Smaller grains take less time, and a sample of green alfalfa, at about 80 per cent moisture could ,be reduced to one per cent moisture in about half, that time. area played here and anyone wishing to donate five dollars or more for home runs is asked to phone Karen' Hastings 887-6983 or Wayne Lowe 887-6971.
