Huron Steak House, Port
Elgin. After a short honeymoon,
the young couple will live in
Lucknow.

Seaforth, Walton, St'affa,
Southampton, Goderich and
surrounding area.
PATON — BRODIE — Debra Dawn Brodie,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Brodie of Brucefield
and David Charles Paton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don
Paton of Mt. Elgin were married June 12 at
Brucefield United . Church by 'Rev. E.S.Stevens.
Attendants were Pat Brown, Breslau, Cathy and
Lenore Paton and Sharon,Carla and. Sally Brodie and
Rick Grieve, Duanne Paton, Doug McQueen, Jim
Ritchie, David Brodie and" JohnPaton. Mrs. Fred
McGregor was organist; Mrs. Barb Hodgins sang
and played guitar during the signing of the register
and Sandy Kennedy, Chatham, the bride's great
uncle, piped' the bridal party and ,guests from the
church. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will
live at R.R.1, Mt. Elgin.

A pretty wedding was solemnized May 15, 1976 at
St. James Church, Seaforth when Rev. Fr. Laragh
united in marriage Wilma Staples, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon Staples, Seaforth, and Wayne
Knight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Williard Knight,
R.R.#2, St. Pauls, Miss Lorraine Staples, Seaforth,
was her sister's maid of honor while the groom,was
attended by his brother, Keith Knight of Stratford.
Mrs. Alice Stiles, Seaforth, was organist, and
accompanied the soloist Gerald Staples, Stratford,
brother of the bride. Ushers were Larry Knight,
Stratford and • Robert DeBrabandere, Rannoch.'
Following the marriage, a dinner and reception was
held at the Seaforth Curling Club, after which the
couple left on a motor trip to Western Canada.

from her garden; also visiting
with Mr. Scott were his wife,
