"-The winner, and not by a hare (sorry,
couldn't resist). This car does it all: it's small,
light, roomy and fast, with nimble and respon-
sive steering, ride and handling. A modern and
sophisticated car with a handsome Guigiaro-
designed h.atchback body. The Rabbit offers one of
the most space-saving mechanical layouts we've
seen yet:. front-wheel drive, transverse engine
and a unique, independent rear suspension fea-
turing an integral anti-roll bar and using -so little
space-it's remarkable. The Rabbit has a solid feel
and an ultramodern look to it.
Best of all it is almost sinfully en-
joyable to drive."

70 Hgirls
need
cogch.
Ther are about 7Q girls in, -
Seaforth who want to play
baseball this summer. But unless
coaches or managers for three
girls' teams can be found by
Sunday, they won't be able to
play.
Recreation director Clive Buist
'says that equipment and sweaters
are available —but there's "'No
help". The girls' league has
operated for three years and play
is good enough that there could
be onetrdvelli ng and two house
league teams this year.
Flora Ann McAllister and
Leona Scott have coached and
managed the girls' baseball for
three yearS and they retired this
year. Last year there were about
seven parents involved• with the
league.
Some of the 70 girls who
registered to play ball this year
are trying out, with Clinton
teams, the rec director says, "and ,
it's pretty sad that they cant play
in their own town."
Anyone who is willing to'coach
or manage the girls haSeball
teams is asked to call the ret.
office at 527-0882. Sunday is the
deadlilne if Seaforth wants to' ,
enter a WOAA team.
