Easter bOskets giVen to, Manor
WINNER — Lisa Beuttenmiller, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Bob Beuttenmiller, was the winner of a
handmade bedspread type quilt at the Huron Trail
Riders annual spring dance held at Vanastra. The
quilt was made by Lisa's grandmother, Mrs. Gordon
Muegge of Seaforth.

Seaforth Women's Institute, also
the gift of an Easter basket to
each resident from Misses Esther
and Elizabeth De Jong and
Catherine, Joanne, and , Colin
Vennema.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Farley and
family of Toronto visited the
latter's father Dr. E. Sadlier on
Friday,
Visiting with William Scott
were Mrs. Scott and Mr. and
Mrs. Ross Scott of Brucefield,
also Misses Ina and Ellen Scott of
London.
John Darling spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Pat Struck
and family of Cambridge.

from the U.C.W. of.Duff's United
Church, Walton.
Rev. Sharpies of Clinton visited
on Thursday afternoon and gave
communion to Mrs. Ada Reid,
Mrs. Lillie Hudie, Miss. Mary
Neville and Miss Doris Wills.
Visiting with Mrs. Ada Reid
were Mrs. Elsie Dinsmore, Mrs.
W. Ball and Mrs. Eva McCart-
ney. A lovely bouquet of spring
flowers was sent to* Mrs. Reid
from St. Thomas Anglican

An invitation was accepted to
attend a meeting of Huronic
Rebekah Lodge, Clinton, on May
17, when the initiatory degree will
be conferred on candidates. The
travelling gavel will be presented
to Pride of Huron Lodge, Exeter,
on May 19, by members of
Edelweiss Lodge.
Rebekah Assembly of Ontario,
will be visiting there on that
occasion.
Mrs. May Habkirk gave a
report of the recent district
meeting held in Goderich. Vice
.,;grand Mrs. N. Riehl reported for
the card and visiting committee
and Mrs. P. Malcoirri, N.G.,
presided.

Mr. and Mrs. Allan Schram of Goderich, Elsie Henderson
and Norman Speir provided the old tyme music for Monday's

amily Night". Donald and Ronald Taylor of the Brucefield
area entertained' with electric guitar instrumentals during
intermission.
The Belgrave Women's Institute, were hosts for the April
birthday party on. Wednesday. Mrs,Bill Coultes was emcee •
for the program with the first part taken by the Glee Club of
the East Wawanosh Public School. Mrs. Daer is the leader of
the group of forty-two students who entertained with songs by
the choir, vocal duets and quartette numbers, piano and,
guitar instrumentals. 'The second part of the program was
provided by Members of the Institute .with readings by Mrs.
Scott and Mrs. Bolt and sing-a-long accompanied at the piano
by Mrs. Norman Coultes. Twenty-six residents having April "\i,
Birthdays received gifts with special mention to Mrs. Mosack
who on April 20th celebrated her "100th " Birthday and to
Miss Ida Walkinshaw and Earl Campion who are now eligible
for' the "Over 90" club.
Mrs. Mary AraiRegier thanked the Belgrave Institute f or
arranging the splendid program and party.
