The road superintendent
presented the road budget for
1976 at Hibbert council's arch 16
meeting. A clsnthas been made
in the budget M7 the -amount of
snow plowing required, making it
necessary to curtail the amount of
road re-construction for 1976.

building permits would be
calculated.
The Clerk and Reeve were also
instructed to sign an agreement
with-Town of Mitchell, Townships
of Logan and Fullarton to partici-
pate in the Senior Citizens Homes
in Mitchell. This would enable
residents of Hibbert Township to
be admitted, the Township
assuming their share of the deficit
in operation.
A delegation was received
regarding opening of side roads
closed by the winter months. It
was left with the Road Superin-
tendent to inspect These iide
roads, and if he thought suitable,
open their for use. At the present
time signs were posted that the
roads were closed,'"-"'

The McKillop I 411 group held
their fourth meeting at the home
of Lorrie and Elizabeth Pryce's at
7:30.
The group talked about how the
• twisted chain can be used. It can
be used as a filling stitch. It is a
good stitch for stems, curves and
leaf outlines. Betty Glanville and
'Elizabeth Pryce demonstrated
how the couching outline and
couching crass stitch was to be
made.
After that the Home Economist
showed slides and asked ques-
tions. After the meeting everyone
had lunch which included hot
chocolate, fruitbread and cheeses
The next meeting will be held
on March 25, at Betty Glanville's
at 7:00.

Two men had their driver's
licences automatically suspended
for three months when they were
found guilty of impaired driving
in provincial court in Seaforth last
Wednesday.
David John Ellis of Mansion
House, Stratford, and Herman
Klaver, R.R. 1, Dublin were each
levied fines of $200 or 20 days in
jail as well.

two dogs' unless the dogs are
registered with the' Canadian
Kennel Club.
Don Dalton of Market St. was
fined $10 for allowing his dog to
run at large. Charges of not
having dog licences were with
drawn against both dog owners'
because they bought licences the
,day charges were laid by Seaforth
police.
Other court appearances were
adjourned until April 21, the next
provincial court date in Seaforth.
