The third meeting of Hensall II
"Thrifty Threaders" was held on
March 9 in Hensall U.C. The roll
call "The colour harmony of my
learning stitches" was answered
by 12 girls. The leaders
demonstrated on how tto do the
twisted chain stitch. The girls also
read about how to create a design
and tried creating a few designs.

their leader Mrs. Betty Glanville
at 7:30p.m. on March 11.
The club finally decided on a
name "The Flossy Lossys" and

comes in handy. The group
discussed Scandinavian and tradi-
tional designs and formal and
informal balance. Then they
learned the twisted' chain stitch.
