The Presbyterian W.M.S.
meeting was opened with "Call to
Worship" by the president.
A moment of silent prayer in
memory of bereaved members
was followed by prayer by Mrs.
Esther Thompson. The roll call is
to be answered by the word
"Courage" for the October meet-
ing.
Business was discussed and
thank you dotes read. Holiday
Wheels are to be turned in at•the
November meeting. Mrs. Van
Rooijen gave the treasurer's
report. The collection was accept-
ed and dedicated.
Mrs. Thompson had charge of
the study period. The Scripture
reading was Romans 8th Chapter
verses 28-39 read by Mrs.
Thompson who led in prayer
following the reading.
A panel of four ladies, Mrs.
Harrison, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs,
McMillan and Mrs. Drover, con-
ducted an interesting discussion
from the study material. The
study period closed with prayer.
Following the singing of hymn
374 the "Blessing", 826 in the
hymn book, was repeated in
unison. "Grace" was sung after
which lunch was enjoyed.
