ENVIRONMENTAL HEARING BOARD
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WASTE DISPOSAL SITE FOR LANDFILLING
TOWNSHIP OF STANLEY
The Township of Stanley has applied to the Ministry of the
Environment for approval of a waste disposal site for
landfilling to serve the Township of Stanley to be located in
the vicinity of the west half of Lot 16, Concession, B.pst. in
the Township of Stanley.
The Environmental hearing Board will conduct a public
hearing to obtain information and to hear the views of the
public so that it can form an opinion on the merits as to
whether the use and operation of the proposed site would or
would n of be in the public interest. Written and oral
submissions may be made to the Board at the hearing. The
Board will not consider any submissions regarding the
proposal after the hearing has been closed.
The hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 1975
commencing at 10:66 o'clock in the morning, local time, in the
Township of Stanley Hall, Varna, Ontario.
Copies of a plan related to the proposal will be available for
examination and inspection during normal business hours at
the office of the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Stanley,
R.R.#l, Brucefield, Ontario.
