Water was over the top at another Tuckersmlth bridge, Sproat's bridge south east of Seaforth at one point during the heavy run off. (Staff Photo) Funeral service for John Greer Berry, 46 Cambria Road North, Goderich was held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Goderich Saturday afternoon, April 12 with the Rev. G. L. Royal officiating. JOHN G. BERRY Mr. Berry, County of Huron Clerk Treasurer and Administra- tor from 1958 until the time of his death, s had been a county employee for 27 years.. He died Thursday, April 10 in Alexandra Marine and General Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 52. Interment • was in Maitland Cemetery. They are as follows: Assist Public 22 Lost and Found 5 Assist Other P.D.'S. 6 Thefts 2 Insecure Property 1 Disturbances 3 Animal Complaints 3 Two (2) persons were charged under the Liquor Control Act. Six (6) persons were charged under the Highway Traffic Act. No persons charged under the Criminal Code. There was one minor Motor Vehicle Collision investigated with damages totalling $185.00. Nineteen (19) persons were stopped and warned about'minor offences or defects. Berry News of • Hold services, for Hull ett Central Grade seven, accompanied by Mr. Riley and Mr. MacLennan journeyed to London' by bus on Tuesday, April 15. The trip included three stops. • They first visited the Royal Canadian Regiment's Museum at Wolseley Barracks. The class was guided through the museum and took notes of what they viewed. The museum had exhibits from World War I; World War Korean War and Boer War. After lunch, the students went to an exhibit about Pioneer lights and lighting lbcated at London's Centennial Museum. There were many different kinds, shapes and sizes of • lamps and candy-holders. Next, they went to the London Free Pr ess and were divided into four groups, each with its own guide.The students were shown- through the whole operation and talked with some of the editors and machine operators. They • were shown how the finished —product was produced from the reporting of events.to the delivery of the paper. Their questions were answered and then they travelled back to the school.
