Last Thursday the Branch held
a dinner meeting on the occasion
of their' nomination night. The
Ladies Auxiliary served ham,
scalloped potatoes, macaroni,
cabbage salad, rolls, cherry pie
and ice cream and coffee, Com-
rade John Wood , thanked the
ladies for the very fine dinner and
Peg COOmbs replied.

Another Dieppe Medal Awarded
Comrade Jack Taylor was
recently awarded the Dieppe
Medal and certificate. To my
knowledge John Holland and Jack
Taylor were the only two Seaforth
residents who were in the Dieppe
Raid.
We w,guld like to know of any
area veteran who participated in
the Dieppe Raid.
Egmondville "Stitch 'N Rippers"
Meet
The Egmondville 4-H member's
held their seventh meeting at the
home of the Eggerts. The
meeting was opened with the 4-H
pledge and then Brenda Cooper
read the minutes. All the girls
answered the roll call, "Tell one
way you have learned to improve
your wardrobe". '
They ,very briefly discussed
pointers for Exhibit on Achieve-
ment Day. Marg Van Dyke
demonstrated how to insert a
zipper. Mrs. Eggert showed the
girls the proper way of setting in a
sleeve as well as sewing on
buttons and other fasteners.
Marg Van Dyke read the steps for
each item.' Mr's. Eggert 'demon-
strated,
The final meeting of 'this
project_will be held at the home of
the Rose girls on Tuesday, April
29t11, at 8:00. The meeting was
closed with the serving .of
refreshments. •
