County road budget up
Huron County Council
approved a 1975 roads budget of
$2. 536,000 a 23.8 per cent over
the 1974 budget. In 1974 the
4 grand total budget was
$2,129,000 while actual
expenditures amounted to only
$2,053,850 which was . within
)9.7 of the budget.
The increase representing
almost 3.8 mills is the first
in local funds of less than 6 per

MISS MARY O'REILLY
Miss Mary O'Reilly, 84, of
Seaforth and formerly of St.
Columban, died' at Seaforth
Community Hospital Wednesday,
January 29. A daughter of the
Late James and Mary O'Reilly she
was born in McKillop.
She is survived by one sister,
Mrs. Julia Flannigan of Seaforth
and seven nieces and nephews.
One sister. Brigid; and one
brother Thomas predeceased her.
The body was at the R.S. Box
funerla home, Seaforth. High
mass was held at St. Columban

p.m., January 28th, with
temporary entombment in the
Pioneer Mausoleum. Burial will
be in Maitlandbank cemetery.

MRS. P. G. LITTLE
Mrs.Percival G. Little of John
Street, Seaforth, died Monday at
the home of her son-in-law, Lewis
Bolton, in McKillop. She was 83.
The former Clara M.Davidson,
she born in McKillop and
attended S.S.No.9 School. For a
number of-years she was a
milliner in the former McFaul dry
goods store in Seaforth.
In 19'13 she was married to Mr.
-Little in Toronto and following
five years' in Toronto the couple
She was- predeceased by her
husband in 1968 but is survived
by a daughter Marion, Mrs.
