Most of the other minerals show a de-

production was 89,096,719 in 1880, . 814,-
359,174 in 1801, and 813,334,267 in 1802,
the largest increase being in coal.

population of the township is 4,259, of
whom 1503 are under 21 years of age ;
the total value of real and personal pro-
perty is 82,117,636. There aro in the
township 3,955 acres of land under fail

Exeter.
A fatal accident happened lsre on
Monday evening. As l'tr. George Arm-
strong, of the Thames road, Usborne,
aeconipanied by Ur. Win, Tapp, of this
place, were driving down Main street, on
a heavy load, one of the irons carne off
the whiffletree. Mr. Tapp got off to put
it on, Mr. Armstrong leaned over the
Trent of the load watching him fix it, the
